Top Mother's Day Gift Ideas 2025

Writer: Megan MariahMegan Mariah

Searching for the perfect gift is a high-pressure affair. No matter who you're shopping for, finding the one thing they are going to love can be overwhelming.

So, I have put together my top Mother's Day gift ideas for 2025. No matter who you’re celebrating, they are going to treasure these thoughtful gifts for years to come.

Mother's Day Gift Idea 1: Monthly Flower Subscription

A flower subscription is the gift that keeps on giving. Everyone loves a bunch of their favourite blooms, so what’s better than a bunch of flowers being delivered to their door every single month! You really can’t go wrong.

Here’s a few of my favourites:

Bloom & Wild — You’ve probably heard of them and it’s for good reason! I’m a big fan of their Tulip bouquets. They come with their bulbs still attached so your loved one can re-plant them for next year!

Freddie’s Flowers — Another favourite of mine, Freddie’s Flowers’ seasonal blooms are a beautiful gift for your botanical loving loved ones.

Mother's Day Gift Idea 2: Stationary Gift Set

Combine stationary with pretty prints and bright colours, and your loved one will be all over it! Notebooks, diaries, sticky notes, pens, you name it. If it comes in a colourful print, stationary makes such a pretty (and practical) gift that she will actually use!

My top picks are:

Papier — Believe me when I say these notebooks are beautiful! With colourful prints and unique designs, Papier have beautiful gift sets, perfect for a Mother's Day gift.

Once Upon a Tuesday — This is a brand that I have recently discovered and I’m OBSESSED with their aesthetic! If your loved one is the fun and colourful kind, she will love these retro-inspired stationary bits.

Mother's Day Gift Idea 3: DIY Craft Kits

I know this may sound slightly niche, but DIY craft kits are everywhere at the moment and I think they make the best gift for both the artsy person and the not so artsy person! These are all about trying something new and making something you can treasure.

Here’s a few thoughts:

Fantasywire Fairy Making Kit Fantasywire are a Family Run business who make wire fairies! I first came across them at Trentham Gardens, an estate in Stoke-On-Trent, where fairy sculptures adorned the gardens in all their beauty. My mum LOVED them, so when I saw they had smaller DIY kits, it was a no brainer!

Pott’dThese at home pottery kits are another lovely gift option. Besides from being super adorable and aesthetic, they provide you with all the tools to create your own pottery masterpiece! Another activity you can enjoy together with your loved one.

Mother's Day Gift Idea 4: Enigmagram

A tried and tested Mother's Day gift idea, the Enigmagram is definitely a fun one! Perfect if you are gifting your loved one show tickets or an experience, the Enigmagram makes receiving non-tangible gifts way more exciting!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Create a message that will be revealed within the Enigmagram. This can be a picture, video or text.

  2. Enigmagram posts it to the recipient. They’ll receive an envelope containing an anonymous letter and a pack of puzzles.

  3. The recipient solves it. It takes 1–2 hours on average. If they get stuck they can access clues & the answers.

  4. They see your message. The answer to each puzzle is a number. Together they make a passcode, which is used to access your message from an online location

Mother's Day Gift Idea 5: Monthly Pyjama Subscription

This one is a classic, just re-invented slightly. Pyjamas are a fool proof gift choice for any loved one. They are always gratefully received and it’s no wonder! But what if we could up the anti a bit? A pyjama subscription is a great option if you feel like that special woman in your life deserves a bit more. Specifically, a new pair each season.

Jarma Box do just that and more. Opt for a pyjama only box or a full box with added self care products. What’s not to love?

Mother's Day Gift Idea 6: Jewellery Holder

This is always a winner! If her jewellery collection keeps growing, she’s going to need somewhere to store it all.

Oliver Bonas are the QUEEN’s of jewellery holders. If you want something unique, quirky or just beautiful, Oliver Bonas are the way to go.

Some of my faves at the moment:

Mother's Day Gift Idea 7 - Mother's Day Mystery Picnic

I came across this company on Instagram and I Just had to include them. Perfect for any special occassion, AmazingCo help you discover unique and exciting experiences to enjoy with the people you love.

My particular favourite is the Mystery Picnic! Here’s how it works:

You pick your city and start by solving clues that’ll take you on a journey to collect your special gourmet picnic food bit by bit. Each clue you solve will lead you closer to your next picnic food pickup and even closer to your final stunning picnic location.
